As with our bespoke Backials we have developed a bespoke BackPeel (chemical peel) treatment for your back. Skin Peels have so many benefits and are such a diverse treatment they can also be used on delicate areas of the body, such as the back, safely and effectively.
Many are embarrassed to take their top off at the beach or wear tops that show off their back due to acne, pigmentation, stretch marks and scarring. The BackPeel will help to control, maintain and improve skin issues so that you have the confidence to show of your back to the world.
The skin on your body regenerates a lot slower than the skin on your face making the body area sometimes harder to treat, this is often noticeable when you get a spot on the body or ingrowing hair. The body area will take 2-4 weeks to heal completely, whereas the facial skin is often clear in a matter of days or up to 2 weeks. With the right care and treatments in the long run your back will maintain results a lot longer than your face. This is why we have selected the very best peels for all skin types and conditions to give you results that you desire.
The treatment is very similar to the treatment that you would receive on the face but with a few little added extra’s! Depending on the peel selected to treat your skin the peel may also be combined with masks, steaming and extractions.

Frequently asked questions
How long do chemical peels take?
Depending on the size of the area being treated and the blend of treatment the whole thing can take anywhere between 30-60 minutes.
What will my skin feel like after a chemical peel?
Superficial peels have limited effects, these are often referred to as ‘lunch time peels’ as you can go straight back to your daily activities with no indication of having a treatment. Whereas, Medium peels may cause some redness and post treatment flaking. For both the skin may feel a little warm, or ‘alive’ post treatment, this is normal!
What will my skin feel like during my treatment?
This can vary depending on the ingredients used. Glycolic acid can often feel ‘prickly’, whereas TCA and salicylic acid can often feel quite warming on the skin and lactic acid barely has any sensation.
How many peels will I need?
This depends on the issue you are trying to correct, however often I prescribe 3 or 6 if trying to treat a skin issue and then review the treatment after 3 to see if the chemical blend needs to be changed or if you require a different treatment to continue with your skincare journey.
How often can I have a peel?
Every 4-6 weeks to achieve the best results, then maintenance peels every 3-6 months.
